Yesterday, I was browsing some of the websites that I usually visit once upon a time, and I found a very interesting article. Well, when you see “Google Earth” + “Tomb Raider” + “CHALLENGE” in an article’s title it does attract considerable amount of attention. Right?
What it’s about?
Atari has launched an online challenge in order to promote Lara Croft latest game, “Tomb Raider Underworld“. The most fascinating part of the online challenge is that it uses Google Earth Plugin to play the game.
How the game works?
Everyday, a clue is made available of the website of the game.
Something like this:
“A mysterious three, don’t get lost in the western sea“
You have to search the earth to find the location provided by the clue. If your guess is right and you zoom in sufficiently, you will see an orange Tomb Raider icon. If you see that, it means that you have solved the puzzle. Click on it, fill in the form and win a PS3. Simple!!!
Note: I’m not sure if this contest is worldwide or not. But it’s worth playing it either ways.
Enjoy the online game

So, if you already got your PS3 and want to install Linux on your machine then check this site.
Get your free Ubuntu 7.04 here
Note: PS3 is approximately 40 times more powerful than the PS2 and 3 times more powerful than the XBOX 360. And, emulating a PS2!!! game requires a very powerful Pentium 4 (3.00 GHz or above). The rest is simple logic!!! Check this Link for more details.
Like someone very familiar/popular always says….Have Fun
Imagine the real monsters of Yu-Gi-Oh coming to life… Just imagine…Ok Ok that’s may be a bit far-fetched. But, Playstation 3 mixed with some fantastic abilities of computer vision may well do the job.
Watch this video and start dreaming
Until then why not challenge me for a duel…
In case you don’t know how to play Yu-Gi-Oh online, check this link
Have fun!!!
