Scientist have found the gene that controls the Pain Signals in the body. This particular gene is known as the SCN9A Gene. Like most of the times, scientist discovered this major “Discovery” by luck.
A young Pakistani man used to amaze local residents by plunging knives through his arms and walking on burning coals and yet experiencing no pain…Incredible isn’t it!!! Yet, this young man died at the age of 14 by jumping from a roof…My guess is that he didn’t experience the pain of death also. Scientists studied his case and other individuals of his families and found out that 6 of them never experienced pain in their lives. These families have a rare inherited genetic mutation that stopped them from feeling pain. This mutation stopped a sodium channel, which produces nerve impulses that convey pain signals to the brain, from functioning.
Through this discovery, a new class of painkillers is being invented. If 6 families can have this genetic mutation then why not, with the help of scientists, the whole world can have it!!!
Let’s see how Nature responds to this “Disbalance”.
Steps to use this feature:
- Install Athlon CPU driver.
- Install Cool ‘n’ Quiet Software. You can go on www.amd.com and download the required drivers and software for your system.
- After installation click on power option in control panel and select the “Minimal Power Energy” option to enable Cool’n'Quiet.
On certain windows versions, there is another tab called “AMD’s Cool’n'Quiet ™ Technology” in the power options. On this tab, configure Performance option at “Automatic Mode”.
Without Cool’n'Quiet, the CPU temperature is between 118.4º F and 122º F (48º C and 50º C) while performing basic tasks (surfing on the net and listening to MP3 songs). After we enabling Cool’n'Quiet the CPU temperature drops a lot and stays between 86º F and 93.2º C (30º C and 34º C) while we performing the same basic tasks. With this feature enabled, the CPU fan runs slower, making our PC a lot more silent.

Well, this is possible. All you need is these stuffs:
- CD-ROM drive ( 1x - 60x) with a earphone plug and volume control.
- Female power plug ( cut it from an old power supply).
- A 7805 integrated circuit (regulate voltage).
- Heat dissipator for 7805 IC.
Procedure
The advantages of doing this are,
- You may take an old drive(1x) that was dusting away somewhere. This brings your cost to nearly nothing.
- Who will break your car window to steal a CD-ROM drive.
- Sounds cool.
