Ever heard of HomeBrew?
Well the term “Homebrew” refers to programs such as games, utility software, and the like, that are made at home by individual people (as opposed to development companies).
How is this possible?
The first Japanese PSPs were sold with firmware version 1.00, which could run unsigned code (that is, programming code that was not “signed” or approved by Sony or a Sony-authorized developer). People soon discovered this fact, and PSP homebrew was born. When version 1.50 was released Homebrew became difficult but thanks to an exploit 1.50 became the best firmware for running Homebrew.
Sony Versus Hackers
Sony made an attempt to remedy its mistakes by requiring new games to run only on 2.xx but it was in no time for the hackers to find a way to make 1.50 consoles look like 2.xx machines.
Version 1.50 allows programmers to develop their own games and programs that can be run on their PSPs. So why the need for buying the latest PSPs. Get yourself a PSP version 1.50 and have fun.
Don’t worry if you already bought a PSP other than 1.50, downgraders exists.

By the way, he had made his debut in the MLS before his 15th birthday – and he’s younger than Theo Walcott!!!
